Originally built in 1974, Chisinau International Airport in Moldova underwent modernisation in 2000 to accommodate increasing passenger numbers. DSSR was commissioned by the Halcrow Group to act as services engineering consultants on the project.
Using detailed analysis of regional climatic conditions, new ventilation, heating and cooling systems were installed in the airport terminal. As part of the £8m modernisation process, many high-specification features have been installed – meeting latest airport standards.
DSSR continues to expand its overseas portfolio, working on a number of projects in the Middle East.
