Old Mutual plc acquired the lease for this major building in the City of London for their financial services business. All floors of the building underwent major refurbishment. The new fit out comprises dealing facilities, general administration offices, meeting and conference rooms, a main computer room, hospitality suite and kitchen and support facilities.
DSSR was initially appointed to carry out M&E condition surveys and reports on suitability, expected life, sub-letting capability and energy appraisals for existing services, but was subsequently appointed by Old Mutual plc on the new fit out, responsible for all mechanical, electrical and public health services, including tender documentation and appraisal of tenders.
DSSR was later novated to the Design & Build contractor and the fast-track fit out was successfully completed on time and under budget.
