ROLLS-ROYCE

The Rolls-Royce Turbine Blade Manufacturing facility in Renfrewshire is part of a £100m investment by the company. The new facility provides space for the manufacture of rotars, stators and seals – precision components in Rolls-Royce aero engines. The building also incorporates an office suite, training facilities and laboratory spaces.

DSSR undertook Stage 1 design services for Roll-Royce and Stage 2 detailed design for Design & Build contractor Amec/ABFS, which included compressed air and process gasses, effluent and cooling installation and oil recirculation.
