Prestwick Aerospace Park in Ayrshire was opened in 1999 to accommodate aerospace service industries near Prestwick International Airport. The low-density development covers 100 hectares and features large areas of landscaping. It has attracted major companies to the area over the last 10 years.

DSSR provided a complete service for all mechanical and electrical building services, including assessment of utility provision for the site. DSSR was also responsible for street lighting design adaptable to local authority standards.
