MANCHESTER JOINT HOSPITALS

The Manchester Hospitals NHS Trust  completed their relocation to the £800m Bovis Lendlease PFI development. DSSR partnered BLL from the initial bidding stage in 2001, through to the successful  completion of the design and commissioning stages for £350m of Building Services M&E installations. The former Manchester Royal Infirmary site continues to be redeveloped with the 1980’s ‘Nucleus’ complex, for which DSSR also undertook the M&E design, being fully refurbished to meet the current requirements.

Manchester Joint Hospitals has recently won the LABC (Local   Authority Building Control), Manchester Best Technical Design, awarded at their event in May 2011.
