MECHANICAL & ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS – GLASGOW OFFICE

Our Glasgow Office has an immediate requirement for Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, both at Intermediate level. Candidates should have at least 2 years experience in Mechanical Building Services / Electrical Services design. These positions require enthusiastic and committed Engineers who have a strong background working within an M&E construction environment. The successful candidates will deal with all aspects of the mechanical / electrical engineering process from developing concepts, to the production of detailed solutions.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the Project Team in the delivery of successful, appropriate technical solutions;
  • Successful Engineering Design and delivery of various projects on time and to budget;
  • Working within the operating standards for the project;

Qualifications / Experience:

  • Hold a minimum of a HNC in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering; (for Mechanical role)
  • Hold a minimum of a HNC in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering; (for Electrical role)
  • Have relevant experience of working within the Building Services industry;
  • Experience in the use of Autocad/Revit MEP software would be beneficial.
  • Ability to develop good working relationships with internal and external clients;
  • Knowledge and understanding of the legislative changes and impact on the project;
  • Good numerical and organisational skills;
  • Flexible attitude.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate appropriate technical knowledge and understanding of the methodology for their respective discipline and be able to produce thorough and accurate engineering designs. Candidates should also be positive in their business relationships and interactions with colleagues and clients.

 

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (MANCHESTER) AND MECHANICAL AND PUBLIC HEALTH ENGINEERS (LONDON)

Our Manchester Office is looking to recruit an Electrical Engineer and our London Office is actively recruiting Mechanical and Public Health Engineers to support their existing teams. In order to be considered for these roles, candidates should have between two and 5 years experience in Mechanical Building Services / Electrical Services / Public Health design. The successful candidates will deal with all aspects of the mechanical / electrical / public health engineering process from developing concepts, to the production of detailed solutions. The responsibilities of the role and qualifications/experience of suitable candidates are as detailed in the job specification above for the Glasgow Office vacancies.
