Description:                

This project comprises a 45 bed Inpatient Building, a Mental Health Unit and a General Medical Services Building on a combined Campus location at the old Sauchie Hospital site in Alloa.  The building design incorporates solar shading and overhanging structure to minimise solar heat gain and discomfort.  As a result, maximum use of natural ventilation has been achieved except where clinical or statutory requirements prevail.

New Barts & The Royal London Hospital

Major new PFI hospital project, the largest UK hospital redevelopment to date, with 1248 beds on two sites - the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel and the St Barts Hospital in the City of London.

Description
Major new 669-bed state-of-the-art hospital in central London, being built on a 3-acre site in Euston Road – replacing a number of existing hospital facilities in the vicinity. This new PFI development brings together all the Acute Care facilities of one of London’s leading teaching hospital groups.

New Pembury PFI Hospital , Turnbridge Wells

Description
New 512-bed PFI Pembury Hospital at Tunbridge Wells comprising 7 storeys of planned & emergency surgery, orthopaedics, women & children’s zone, day case theatres and outpatient services.

This will be the first NHS hospital to have 100% single occupancy rooms with en-suite facilities and enabling the highest standards to be designed for patient safety and infection control.

Laing Equion achieved financial close in early 2008. Scheduled completion of the construction works is in 2010.

 The infrastructure works are being constructed as a separate ProCure 21 contract - DSSR is appointed separately by Laing O’Rourke for the M&E infrastructure design and renewable energy  feasibility studies.

Description
These Ambulatory Care & Diagnostic Units are     replacements for the Victoria Infirmary and Stobhill     Hospital, in Glasgow.  In addition to extensive operating     theatre suites and recovery areas, there are Renal     Dialysis facilities, Imaging and clinics for ENT/Audiology,     Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Rehabilitation, Diabetic Day     Care, Minor Injuries Unit and general Outpatients Clinics.

Beatson Oncology Unit, Gartnavel Hospital, Glasgow

Design and Build Cancer Care Unit.  The new building will provide a new regional cancer service to the West of Scotland. It will provide 22,500msq floor area, giving 173 in-patient beds for oncology, haemato-oncology, bone marrow transplant & tracy therapy, 45 day-case spaces for chemotherapy, 7 linear accelerator chambers, CT & MRI imaging, clinical research & support departments

Romford New Hospital

Description
New acute PFI hospital project on a brown field site adjacent to the existing old church hospital.  The new development includes Nuclear Medicine, Imaging, Radiopharmacy, OPD, NICU, ICU, HDU, CCU, Theatres, Pathology Labs and Ward accommodation.  Catering, Pharmacy and Mortuary services are located at basement level and the remaining departments are located within the quadrants topped by one cylindrical ward accommodation.
