Prospect Park Mental Illness Hospital, Reading

Description
PFI contract for a new 203-bed Mental Illness Hospital at Prospect Park on the outskirts of Reading town centre, the PFI contract won by Kier Build with site completion in 2003.  The development comprises a mix of 8 No. two-storey buildings and 2 No. refurbished buildings set in a parkland campus.  Included are dedicated facilities for intensive care, adult acute and the elderly inpatients, treatment and education facilities.

Description
Major new PFI hospital project, the largest UK hospital redevelopment to date, with 1248 beds on two sites - the Royal London Hospital in Whitechapel and the St Barts Hospital in the City of London.

Description
Major new 669-bed state-of-the-art hospital in central London, being built on a 3-acre site in Euston Road – replacing a number of existing hospital facilities in the vicinity. This new PFI development brings together all the Acute Care facilities of one of London’s leading teaching hospital groups.

John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford - Trauma Building

Description
A new stand-alone building with 3800m2 clinical accommodation built on three floors comprising Outpatients clinic, Fracture clinic and X ray on the ground floor  and Trauma wards on first and second floor served from a rooftop plantroom. The building was a fast track project designed and constructed in 15 months from initial concept to final handover.

Description
These Ambulatory Care & Diagnostic Units are     replacements for the Victoria Infirmary and Stobhill     Hospital, in Glasgow.  In addition to extensive operating     theatre suites and recovery areas, there are Renal     Dialysis facilities, Imaging and clinics for ENT/Audiology,     Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Rehabilitation, Diabetic Day     Care, Minor Injuries Unit and general Outpatients Clinics.

Beatson Oncology Unit, Gartnavel Hospital, Glasgow

Description
Design and Build Cancer Care Unit.  The new building will provide a new regional cancer service to the West of Scotland. It will provide 22,500msq floor area, giving 173 in-patient beds for oncology, haemato-oncology, bone marrow transplant & tracy therapy, 45 day-case spaces for chemotherapy, 7 linear accelerator chambers, CT & MRI imaging, clinical research & support departments

Romford New Hospital

Description
New acute PFI hospital project on a brown field site adjacent to the existing old church hospital.  The new development includes Nuclear Medicine, Imaging, Radiopharmacy, OPD, NICU, ICU, HDU, CCU, Theatres, Pathology Labs and Ward accommodation.  Catering, Pharmacy and Mortuary services are located at basement level and the remaining departments are located within the quadrants topped by one cylindrical ward accommodation.
