Description
The CAST Technium Building for the School of Informatics is a joint venture project between the WDA and University of Wales. The project is at the leading edge of computer technology, incorporating virtual reality, accommodation software hotels, incubator suite, lecture theatres and open living/leisure facilities.
The Conference/Exhibition Hall can be configured into a lecture theatre if required and includes translation facilities & loop system & front projection passive wall with surround sound.

Description

Description

Description
This new development will provide a state of the art 400 seat auditorium with eight seminar rooms. The auditorium will be primarily used as a lecture theatre and conference facility that can be adaptable to become a performance space with seating for 350 people. The design features a dynamic shell structure and adaptable internal acoustics. The scheme is part of the phased development of RHUL’s Egham Campus.

Description
This new development will provide 4,000m2 of teaching space. The new building will comprise a 400 seat Lecture Theatre, Lecture Rooms, Seminar Rooms and Exhibition area. The building is seeking to achieve “Sustainability Best Practice” with the optimum use of natural ventilation and high levels of natural light. The Lecture Theatre is to be a “black box” environment with appropriate acoustic characteristics & insulation.

Description
Major Masterplanning role following the merger of Victorian University of Manchester and UMIST. The combined universities will have a student body in excess of 30,000 with over 6,700 staff. It will be the largest University in the UK. The academic structure involves 180 University departments, which are to be re-organised into 4 coherent faculties. Spread over two disparate campuses, the City Centre estate comprises over 600,000 m2 of accommodation in 55 hectares and includes most types of University faculties.
