New GCHQ, Cheltenham

Description
New complex for the Government’s GCHQ in Cheltenham – developed as a PFI project constructed by Carillion. The main building is a “doughnut” ring shape with the latest state-of-the-art communications, fire and security systems as part of the sophisticated building services for the development. The construction was completed 3 months ahead of schedule in 2003.

Canary Wharf DS-5 Tower

Description

Design and Build of multi-phased Business Park Development. 5 Nr phases completed, fully let and sold. Currently Phase 6 for Cala Properties, 40,000ft² unit is designed and out to tender. SUDS drainage implemented and excellent ‘BREEAM’ rating.

Scottish Natural Heritage HQ

Winner of the BRE Office Building of the Year Award

Description
Design and Build of new Headquarters for Scottish Natural Heritage in Inverness.

Office development with a number of ancillary areas, including an Atrium and Library. The building achieved a BREEAM score of 84%, confirmed by BRE as the highest score ever achieved my any building in the UK since the system was introduced in 1998.  Using the BREEAM Environmental Performance Indicator (EPI) to compare developments of differing nature, Great Glen House achieved a maximum rating of 10 out of 10.

New circular form 5-floor building named Clearwater Place. The building provides Thames Water Utilities with a new business centre headquarters with flexibility to accommodate other tenants if required. The new building achieved an ‘Excellent’ BREEAM environmental rating.

Description
Fit-out of 5 floors of a 9-storey speculative office development at Temple Quay, Bristol for an established firm of Solicitors based in South-West England.  Facilities include fee-earner bays, conference rooms, catering and computer suite. Completed 2006.
